COMICS

These are just a small sampling of some of the older comics I own. The last 5 are the ones that are most sacred to me.

    but on a different note

I'm not sure if this is the right place to request stuff etc, but I was wondering if you ever planned to upload the halloween original soundtrack? (going on the assupmtion you like the movie haha)that would be an awesome post, just like the black metal you post and the other ace soundtracks, I download the shit outta that stuff haha.

  2. i thought about posting the halloween soundtrack on halloween actually, but decided against it. the copy i have is just kinda crappy actually, when i find a better one i will definitely put it up, cause it's one of the best, creepiest scores ever.

  4. I'm not huge on the superhero genre, but I won't pretend that I wouldn't like those Batman comics in my own collection.

HoS #92 and the signed Swamp Thing are both amazing finds. My favorite of the batch is still Haunt #18... my EC love is excessive.

Do you collect any of the magazine-sized horror comics that Marvel released in the 70's? Haunt of Horror, Tales of the Zombie, etc.?

  5. if i can find them, i'd probably buy them. more into Creepy/Eerie and the DC stuff than marvel horror/sci-fi....thats genrally' because i'm a DC fanboy, really don't care for marvel...especially now.

that Batman with the dragon is the first silver age appearance of the penguin...i also have the 1st app. of Poison Ivy, and 2 issues of Detective from the 60's...and as much as i love horror comics, i have always and will always love superhero comics.

right now i'm working on completing runs on all 4 volumes of Swamp Thing. i have all of vols. 1 and 3, missing 12 issues of vol. 2, and about 20 of volume 4. also working on all swamp thing guest appearances from books like brave and bold, dc comics presents, challengers of the unknown, hellblazer, etc.

  6. also, the top Adventure Comics is the first modern age appearance of The Spectre, by Michael Fleischer and Jim Aparo, which, if you haven't read them, are grim, EC-like tales of violent justice and vengeance. the other one first appearance Sun Boy, the sun boy one being the 9th overall appearance of the legion of super-heroes, my all time favorite team book.

the house of secrets one just has an awesome Neal Adams cover which i couldn't help but put up.
